In-person Dyslexia Screener : Parent JL
We had a screener for our son with Alyson, she put our son at ease and was really knowledgeable and had great insight into things, our son has complex issues but he didn’t become stressed or overwhelmed with the assessment as he can easily get. We received the report the next day which I thought was really efficient, lots of detail and suggestions for support. Reasonable price for a private assessment and won’t hesitate to use this service again and would absolutely recommend to anyone that needs help with their children’s learning and she was recommended by our son's school too.

When advocating for your child it can often be a minefield, however, using Alyson made the process from start to finish clear and supportive - our daughter enjoyed the assessment and time with Alyson, the report was comprehensive and the school accepted and put in necessary measures to support her education. The screener was incredibly easy to use. It’s divided into sections and easy to see which have been completed and how many are left. My child completed the screener in three sittings over a number of days which made it more manageable. The conclusions drawn in the report are very accurate and the strategies recommended are helpful.
